The Dion Conclave

Located south of the Free City of Borino at the foot of the sacred Mount Dion, Shumnatitsa Hut has become a focal point of history overnight. It is here where the representatives will assemble.

Mount Dion rises above the southern desert of the same name – a place long hidden by the Fog, yet remembered from before the Mage Wars as one of the world’s great sacred sites.

It is only Borino’s locals who still remember what Mount Dion was once called – Diodoma.
The house of the Gods.

The Many

The gathering itself remains heavily controlled. Concerned by political tensions, religious fanaticism and the possibility of mass pilgrimages, the attending nations have established a joint military cordon around the sacred grounds near Shumnatitsa Hut.

Access is restricted to accredited representatives, support personnel and authorized visitors. While many would gladly travel to witness the events firsthand, most will be forced to await the outcome from afar – except, perhaps, those who have already lied, bribed or smuggled themselves inside.

Crowds are already gathering in the vicinity with makeshift camps popping everywhere like summer flowers, their inhabitants grasping six-fold Convergence symbols and hoping they will provide guidance or at least absolution.

The Few

For now, the rest of the world watches, waits and speculates. Whatever happens at the gathering, few doubt that its consequences will be felt far beyond the sacred grounds where the representatives are about to meet on St.Bartek’s day this summer.

Yet despite the hopes, fears and ambitions of entire nations, history will ultimately be shaped by the choices of a few individuals – or will even one prove enough?
